Music Inspiration

One of the best ways to define me is through music. No matter what kind of mood I'm in happy, sad, or mad, music is the answer. Music to me is a unique and creative way to heal and express our feelings. Especially when you have a particular artist that creates music that speaks to you.

My music inspiration and male role model is J. Cole ever since I heard The Badness from The Warm Up mixtape. Which basically explains the hardships throughout life, but with hope you can get to better days. This is one of my takeaways that stood out to me from the song and since then I was able to look at life with a different perspective. Not only does J. Cole inspire me with his music, but also through his humanity. He wants to spread love and positivity throughout the world and be mindful of what is going on in the world. He stands for a purpose and I admire him for that. J. Cole is my big brother or at least that's how I like to look at it. I believe he sets a great example for our young men and women today.
