Salty Spitoon

My workout motivator is Spongebob Squarepants after seeing him work so hard to get into the Salty Spitoon and only lasting two seconds before he slipped on an ice cube and was rushed to the hospital. This made me realize I need to get back in shape so I can be prepared for all that comes my way. Especially me being as clumsy as I am, the chances of me slipping on an ice cube is very high.

I have always been interested in a healthy lifestyle and maintaining a certain weight when I was a collegiate athlete; however, after graduating and noticing how fast my body changed I took fitness to another level. Being a collegiate athlete consisted of early mornings and late nights with approximately three workouts a day. The days were exhausting from the workouts, but I appreciated how my body was toned with minimal body fat. As a collegiate athlete, I always thought my body would stay the same but I was wrong. After seeing my body taking a turn for the worst, Spongebob popped in my head and made me realize I need to get back to the strong and fit me.

The start of the New Year was the time to make a change and hold myself accountable and be more consistent with working out. Lately, I have taken fitness more seriously than ever before along with sticking to a strict diet. And my goal is to have my toned-like body I had when I was an athlete by summer of 2019. I would like to be satisfied with my results and be able to enjoy my life in the South Florida sunshine.
