Life At Sea

I thought life on land was good but it's absolutely nothing compared to living on the water.

Carnival cruise was very welcoming for my best friend Zhana and I as it was our very first time on a cruise and to the Bahamas. We had the opportunity to live the life we see on reality television shows with amazing food and music, many activities, and much more. Everyday was a different experience from comedy shows and night clubs to sipping drinks along the pool side and meeting new people. Carnival had so much to offer that we never wanted to leave the boat not even when it was time to get off the boat tour the island.

As soon as we got off the boat the island was beautiful and the weather was perfect for a tour. The process of getting a tour was somewhat difficult because of the prices and how crowded it was with everyone wanting a tour at the same time. But we were lucky enough to find a nice Bahamian man who was willing to negotiate a reasonable price for us. After the long process of negotiating we were able to tour the alluring Nassau, Bahamas where we were able to see one of Oprah's homes, and where Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married 2 was filmed. Also, we had the privilege to explore Atlantis without having to pay the ridiculous price and tried some rum cake for the first time along the way.

The best part of this wonderful vacation was the Dolphin Excursion where we had the opportunity to meet our new friend Andros who was friendly and flirty, but someone I will not never forget. Andros is one of the dolphins we had the privilege of meeting and swimming with. I was a afraid to get in the water with a dolphin especially after seeing videos of what they are capable of doing, but I was able to get the courage to do it and I enjoyed every single moment of it.
