Spring Break in Miami
My very first Spring Break without parental guidance is definitely something to look forward. Due to my priorities as a collegiate athlete, I didn't have the opportunity to go somewhere or do anything for Spring Break until last year.
My friends and I had planned to do something for Spring Break a few months prior, but it wasn't until we booked our flights and paid for our Airbnb a month before that we realized this was really going to happen. Fast forward to the night before our scheduled flight where we were doing our last minute stressful packing, so after taking forever to pack thirty outfits for five days, our flight left so early that we barely slept, but that didn't matter because it was...SPRING BREAK!
As soon as we landed in Miami and checked into our Airbnb, the party had just begun. We changed in our swimsuits, took a few drinks and headed to South Beach where all the Spring Breakers were. It was literally a party on the beach and it was lit every single day. Speaking of lit, the best part about Spring Break was Story, the night club in Miami, where Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka'oir came out to turn up with the Spring Breakers. Not only was Gucci Mane and his wife in the club but we were right behind their section the entire time.
Overall, I'm glad that I finally got to do something every student can't wait to do while they are in college. I believe everyone should experience the Spring Break life at least once in their life but don't do anything crazy, just pure joy and excitement.
